Meeting an Olympian!!

This past Friday evening I was invited
to attend the “Last Man Standing Presentation” by Steve Bradbury. I
had heard that he was Australian’s first gold medalist in Men’s
Short Track Speed Skating....it didn’t really click at the time who
he really was......
He introduced himself to me and the next thing I know my friend Tony was asking to get a picture with him and I jokingly said to Steve, “Should I know you? Are you somebody famous??” and he just laughed. Well the blondness did it to me again. He is Steven Bradbury, the last man standing from the Salt Lake City Olympics....... here watch
Do you remember seeing this?? I do... anyway, I was privileged to hear him speak, as he is one of the five owners of the new Aqua Alpine Hotel hear in Goryu, Hakuba. Steve your speech was inspirational, especially as an athlete myself, cheers and all the best in your new investment in our town Hakuba!!!!
