Here we are at the Japanese Mountain Bike Association Jr. MTB camp. On this day we had a Sweet Riders Instructional clinic for 90 minutes. We rode the course together and went over some points about climbing and descending. Because of the intense rain over the whole month of July and August, the course was a mud fest. It didn’t stop these kids from having fun and riding like the pro’s through the mud!!!

We had a great time, thanks guys, you are going to be great future riders!!!!!!

Here I am with the great group of medical students at Aizawa Hospital, along with Dr. Hashimoto and Dr. Barron and his great family. After 5 days of intense English with Dr. Barron and myself these young doctors did a great job of working hard to improve their English. Here at our final dinner party, we enjoyed the success of the past week. I must say, you guys worked hard and were a great group of students... thanks so much for the great experience!!! Next week is week two with a totally new group of students.... stay tuned for that update......K. More photo’s here

Takeshi, Chie, Sam, Pete and I after a fun night out at Fuji Rock. Yes it is 8:30 in the morning and yes, we did stay out and dance and drink our butt’s off but it was well worth it with all of the great music we were able to listen to. It was a mind blowing experience with over 14 stages spread all over Naeba Ski Hill. In attendance were bands like Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Weezer, Fall Out Boy and many more......plus the 100,000 fans like ourselves....it was a crazy experience. The first Fuji Rock for me in 16 years since I have been living in Japan. Previously, I have always been racing....so finally, I got to go....enjoy more pictures here....

After all of the hard work we put into the Jump Jamboree, got my paycheck and decided to treat Kouji and I to a nice dinner out at the Le Neige Hotel in Hakuba. Great dinner and a great night out...enjoy
